Boboli Cowl (worsted version) Pattern - FREE
This pattern is a simple, elegant cowl that can be worn up or down. You can make a finer version with one strand of yarn, or a bulkier version holding 2 strands together. NOTE: we no longer carry the yarn this pattern was designed with, but you can substitute any worsted weight yarn. This project is great for beginners who are ready to move on from scarves.
Cast on, knit & purl in the same row, work in the round, increase, decrease, bind off.
After blocking & lying flat: 15.5”/40cm wide, 19.5”/50cm long.
4mm/US6-24” circular needles
4.5mm/US7-24” circular needles
380m worsted weight yarn (2 skeins Berroco Boboli, 100g/190m, colour 5312)
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 skeins Berroco Vintage Color
2 skeins Cascade 220 Superwash Paints
2 skeins Malabrigo Merino Worsted
4 balls Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran
2 skeins Madeline Tosh Vintage
